Description
The first verse of this old favorite is introduced by a soprano sax and alto sax duet. Instruments are then added to the ensemble as the music builds to an exciting conclusion. The somewhat traditional beginning is followed by sections that allow the musicians to practice counting and playing syncopated rhythms. This is an excellent concert selection, and a good piece to use for solo/ensemble festival.
