Description
This is the first movement of a three-movement piece for mallet ensemble. Each movement functions as a sketch of a childhood memory. This first movement depicts a neighborhood game of hide and seek. The shifting time signatures and syncopated rhythms will present a fun challenge for intermediate and advanced players.
An optional marimba 2 part in treble clef is included for those who prefer it over reading bass clef.
